Mary Bacon accepts the first Market Sampler Bag from Bill Kromer, Leavenworth Farmers' Market
president, at the market last Saturday. The Market Sampler Bag included strawberries, fresh
eggs, hand made soap, bread, baked goods, fresh produce, a copy of "tastebuds" magazine and a
copy of the new book, "Eat Fresh: Eat Healthy, The Leavenworth Farmers' Market Recipe
Collection, 2007". The total value of the Market Sampler Bag was approximately $80.00. Sign up
for the next Market Sampler Bag will take place Saturday morning at the Leavenworth Farmers'
Market, located at Delaware and Esplanade.

Every Saturday starting May 3rd through October 25th, from 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 - downtown Leavenworth, Kansas at the corner of Delaware and Esplanade across from the Riverfront Community Center.

Every Wednesday starting May 14th through September 24th, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - HayMarket Square at the corner of Cherokee and 7th Streets.
