Anne DePriest, our well known and very talented cinnamon roll and sweet cake baker died Monday night April 21^st at 2:00am.  Annie had been a part of the market for 4 years and was greatly appreciated and well-liked by her fellow vendors and loyal customers.  Her much sought after cinnamon rolls and sweet cakes were very popular and thought to be the best in the county by those who regularly indulged in their sweet goodness.  Annie was a sweet, kind, soft spoken lady and her presence will be missed by all of us involved with the Leavenworth Farmers' Market. 

A fond farewell to a grand lady; we will all miss her dearly.

The 2008  Farmers' Market Season is fast approaching!

Days, Hours, and Locations:

Every Saturday starting May 3rd through  October 25th, from 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 -  downtown Leavenworth, Kansas at the corner of Delaware and Esplanade across from the Riverfront Community Center.

and

Every Wednesday starting May 14th through September 24th, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - HayMarket Square at the corner of Cherokee and 7th Streets.

We'll have a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, handmade soap, and much more!
